Custom Photo Guidelines

For the best engraving result:

• Upload a clear, high-resolution image.

• Standing people or animals generally work best.

• Make sure the full subject is visible and not cropped.

• Choose an image with good lighting and a distinct subject.

• Avoid dark, blurry, distant, or highly cluttered photos.

• Photos with simple backgrounds are easiest to convert.

We will remove the original background and engrave only the people or animals. Because photographs must be converted into engravable artwork, the finished result will be a simplified etched interpretation rather than a full-color reproduction.
