Focused on preventing malaria through mosquito nets
Malaria is spread through the bites of infected mosquitoes. Long-lasting insecticide-treated nets create a protective barrier while people sleep, when malaria-carrying mosquitoes are most active.
The Against Malaria Foundation focuses on funding these nets and working with distribution partners to get them to communities that need them. AMF states that 100% of public donations are used to fund nets, with non-net costs covered by a separate pool of funding.
